You have a whole year to use it and can use this however and how often you wish** Due to increased demand, Brook Street (BS) Social Care are recruiting Support Workers across various locations. Your role will be supporting individuals with a range of disabilities and difficulties to promote independence and aid with fulfilling life skills and house tasks in addition to helping engage within their local community. Depending on the service, you may be working alongside or 1:1 with permanent staff to help deliver support to several individuals and deliver the highest standard of support. The ideal candidate will be a driver to aid in taking individuals out in the community in addition to ease of access to various services/companies we work with. Flexibility can be offered with a range of shifts including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays. We require someone with strong communication skills as some of the individuals supported may use non-verbal communication. You will be aiding to promote independence, aiding to develop life skills and encouraging individuals to get involved with a range of activities. Additionally, we work with a variety of companies through different settings including supporting adults with learning disabilities, children and young people, individuals living in hostel or at risk of homelessness, adults with mental health needs and elderly individuals and more?
