Equal Education Partners are currently recruiting for multiple experienced Teaching Assistants to support children within a primary setting in the Swansea area. We are recruiting for multiple roles, starting as soon as possible. We are seeking applications from candidates for Teaching Assistant roles working with a pupil in Foundation Phase & Key Stage 2. The roles are full time, and the successful applicants would be needed for an immediate start once all compliance checks are completed by Equal. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be required to: Offer support to the main class teacher providing the learning support required for individual needs either in groups or in a 1:1 setting Safeguard the children in your care Set up equipment and help prepare the classroom for lessons Inspire and encourage pupils within the classroom through individual and group tasks to achieve their learning outcomes We are very keen to hear from individuals who are interested in this role and other roles we have available. We are here to support you throughout your career progression. Strong literacy and numeracy skills are required for this role. Candidates might have completed Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications in Supporting Teaching & Learning, Childcare or other similar subjects. Equally, strong candidates might have prior experience working with children and/or relevant transferrable skills and experience from a range of different sectors e.g. care, sports, coaching, theatre & performing arts and other areas. The salary for this role is 19,000-21,000 per annum (pro-rated, depending on experience).
