Milk Intake Technician Location: Bellshill Dairy Contract Type: Full-Time Hourly Rate: 12.66 shift premiums Premium Pay Rates Saturday: 1.25x hourly rate Sunday: 1.5x hourly rate Public Holidays: 2x hourly rate Unsociable Hours (6pm ? 4am): Additional 23% Shift Pattern Working 5 days over 7 on a rotating shift basis: Day Shift: 06:00 ? 14:30 Back Shift: 14:00 ? 22:30 Night Shift: 22:00 ? 06:30 About the Role We are seeking a Milk Intake Technician to join the Process Department at Bellshill Dairy, part of Müller Milk & Ingredients. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of: Raw milk intake Fresh milk and cream processing Cream export operations Chemical offload area Laboratory testing and reporting Key Responsibilities Sampling and testing of raw and finished products Recording and updating lab results using dedicated systems Loading cream export tankers Liaising with production departments Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Conducting quality assurance checks Manual cleaning duties Supporting additional tasks as required Skills & Experience Experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment (preferably food-related) Understanding of quality assurance and continuous improvement practices High attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately What We Offer Salary sacrifice pension scheme (up to 4% matched by Müller) Life assurance (2x annual salary) 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Weekly pay Equivalent of 5 weeks total holiday Access to Müller Rewards (discounts, cycle to work scheme, and more) Enhanced overtime rates #pinksquid Contact Details: F.A.O.
